In the ocean

This dress was a mock up of something special I’m working on – a test of raglan cap sleeves (which I think I’ll write up a tutorial for – they were a bit of trouble to work out but since I sorted them out I’ve been using them in everything), a very low back, and underbust gathers. I love handkerchief hems, obviously, and I’ve been trying to come up with the right project for this gray and white lace for almost a year. I think this was it. It’s not my most wearable dress – unhemmed cheesecloth means it’s definitely casual, but it’s a bit much for work – but I love it anyway.
